Preparing the right development scheme in order to obtain planning permission often involves a multi-disciplinary approach. We have developed relationships with many other professionals and are able to draw on their expertise as and when required. We work closely with architects, ecologists, highway engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, estate agents, solicitors and barristers. As a result you can rely on us to create the right team to meet your requirements and those of the particular development project.
Many planning applications these days require a considerable amount of supporting information including Design and Access Statements, Planning Statements and Statements of Community Involvement. We will prepare these statements and, if additional statements are required, we will coordinate their preparation through the creation and management of a team of relevant specialists.
Inevitably some applications are not approved by the Local Council. In such cases we can advise on the prospects of success at appeal. If you choose to appeal against the Council’s decision we can provide advice on the most appropriate procedure whether that be a public inquiry, informal hearing or written representations and pursue the appeal on your behalf. We will coordinate the evidence required by other professionals. If the appeal is dealt with by way of a public inquiry, as Royal Town Planning Institute Members we can instruct a planning barrister on your behalf under the direct professional access arrangements.
